The Ladder Of Spirituality
The Ladder Of Spirituality
India is a land of saints and Avatars. its spiritual aura is well accepted in the world. Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism like many more religions, and sampradaya originated in this auspicious bhumi.
the core of Jainism and Buddhism is meditation. sometimes when we analyze these religions we come to know one common factor that the founding father or Avatars of many religions are kings or princes. why is such so? what made Vardhman (Mahavira) abandon all worldly possessions at the age of about 30 and left home in pursuit of spiritual awakening, becoming an ascetic. why Siddhartha the prince left the kingdom?.
In today's materialistic world where we can't control ourselves from asking only earthly things from Deities above questions are quite important.
There can be two views on the above matter. first, a human is naturally inclined to worldly things. he tirelessly desires more and more as a result nature rewards him with all. but as all these pleasures and earthly things give temporary joy his illusion for happiness breaks. as a king or prince, he gets everything in life and after enjoying all pleasures, power, and wealth he finally searches for ultimate happiness(param anand). so he abandons his kingdom and becomes ascetic.
The second view is much spiritual. as a human soul travels from birth to another carrying his body of spiritual progress with him. in ultimate birth when he is at the pinnacle of spirituality he gets everything all worldly things all powers as a result of his spiritual position. This may distract him but Real Guru or avtar shows the real path to life and sets an example for humans for the realization of God.
The moral of the blog is whether one wants firstly to go for all worldly things and then turn into an inwards journey or vice versa.
